Born and raised in Bermuda, Rikkai Scott began his dance journey at the age of four, training in tap and hip hop. His passion for movement led him to London in 2009, where he completed a full-time scholarship at London Contemporary Dance School, graduating with a degree in Contemporary dance.

Rikkai’s performance career spans an impressive range of companies and collaborators, including De Kiss Moves Fusion Dance Company (Amsterdam), Avant Garde Dance, Boy Blue Entertainment, Michaela Cisarikova Dance Collective, Jean Abreu Dance, James Cousins Company, Arlene Phillips, Motionhouse, and Highly Sprung Performance.

Known for his distinctive dance-theatre style, Rikkai blends tap, hip hop, contemporary movement, and elements of humour to explore everyday experiences in honest and revealing ways. His work draws from real life, using personal narratives to inspire meaningful creative expression.

In 2016, Rikkai founded Rhythmflow Dance, marking the beginning of his choreographic journey. His first outdoor film piece, Watch This Space, was supported by Artists 4 Artists, and Bermuda Festival. He has since expanded his creative portfolio with film work including TAPOUT, created with Alice Underwood and winner of TheArtists Creative Film Award (2021). Rikkai also debuted the duet SENSE, which was commissioned by Bermuda Cultural Affairs and toured the UK, Bermuda, and Valencia.
